Sonoco names Ernest Haynes president of global consumer packaging segment
SON•Sonoco aligns consumer packaging businesses under one leader
Sonoco aligned its Global Consumer Packaging businesses under a single leadership structure reporting to Ernest Haynes, President, Global Consumer Packaging.
Haynes will lead a segment with roughly $5.2 billion in annual sales, 98 operations in 25 countries, serving global consumer brands.
He previously led Sonoco’s Consumer, Americas business; earlier ran Metal Packaging North America following the Ball Metalpack acquisition in 2022.
Sean Cairns, President, Sonoco EMEA/APAC, is leaving the company following 17 years at Sonoco.
