2. Shift from Mining to Hosting
The company discontinued its in-house cryptocurrency mining operations in 2025, eliminating $9.3 million in mining revenue. Hosting services revenue rose 15.3% to $7.5 million as SOS shifted to customer mining hosting, representing 4.9% of total revenue.

Operating expenses surged to $100.9 million from $28.6 million, driven by a $56.2 million increase in general and administrative costs including impairments, credit loss allowances, and higher professional fees, alongside selling expenses of $5.3 million. This led to a $98.6 million operating loss.
