Southern California Edison has received over 10,000 wildfire recovery claims and extended more than $560 million in compensation offers to over 4,100 claimants, disbursing nearly $140 million to date. The program shows a 70% acceptance rate, delivers offers within 90 days, payments within 30 days and runs through November 2026.

As of May 18, Southern California Edison’s Wildfire Recovery Compensation Program has processed over 3,300 claims representing more than 10,000 individuals, trusts and entities. It has issued over 1,670 offers totaling $560 million and paid nearly $140 million to 945 claimants, with additional payments underway.
2. Processing Efficiency and Scope
The program has achieved a 70% offer acceptance rate, issues compensation proposals within 90 days of a fully documented claim and completes payments within 30 days of agreement conditions. It covers total and partial structure loss, non-burn damage, business interruption and physical injury or loss of life.
