Southern Company names Kim Greene president of operations
SO•Southern Company named Georgia Power chairman, president and CEO Kim Greene president of operations, effective January 1, 2027. Stan Connally will become Georgia Power chairman, president and CEO.
1. Leadership changes
Greene will oversee system operations, enterprise strategy and the company’s entire generation fleet, including nuclear. Sterling Spainhour will take responsibility for the Technology Organization, while Sloane Drake will assume responsibility for systemwide training.
