Total loans increased 7.6% to $4.03 billion from a year earlier; retail deposits rose 15.6% to $3.56 billion.
The company raised $65.2 million in gross proceeds via 1,200,000 common shares, then redeemed part of its subordinated notes that carried a higher rate.
Second-quarter results improve sharply
Southern First Bancshares posted 2Q 2026 net income of $11.2 million, up 70.1% from 2Q 2025; diluted EPS rose 48.2% to $1.20.
Revenue climbed 25.3% to $35.88 million, while net interest income rose 28% to $32.37 million.
