Sovereign bonds shouldered aside as AI takes their turf

Broadcom is reportedly lining up $50 billion in financing to buy equipment for OpenAI, while Oracle is also seeking an unspecified amount. SpaceX is looking to issue $30 billion in investment-grade debt and take out $10 billion in bank loans to buy Nvidia chips.
2. Debt raises investor concerns
Some analysts said debt could help SpaceX scale in the AI race without diluting stock. Others raised concerns about chipmakers helping finance buyers of their products and about equity risk shifting into credit risk; SpaceX’s five-year credit-default-swap spread widened almost 15 basis points to a record.
3. Borrowing pressures bond markets
