S&P Global Dow Jones Indices granted Trade[XYZ] a license to launch the first officially authorized perpetual derivative contract tracking the S&P 500, enabling round-the-clock trading. S&P Global Market Intelligence also published its 2025 performance rankings, naming Central Bancompany Inc. and Northeast Bank as top U.S. public and community banks.
1. 24/7 Perpetual Derivative License
S&P Dow Jones Indices granted Trade[XYZ] a license to launch the first officially licensed perpetual derivative contract based on the S&P 500, enabling 24/7 trading access. This expands S&P DJI’s index licensing portfolio, which already supports over 550 global financial institutions in building S&P-linked investment products.
2. 2025 Bank and Credit Union Performance Rankings
S&P Global Market Intelligence released its annual 2025 rankings for U.S. community banks, public banks and credit unions based on returns, growth and risk-adjusted balance-sheet strength. Central Bancompany Inc. topped public banks with over $10 billion in assets, Northeast Bank led community banks sized $3 billion–$10 billion, American Interstate Bank led sub-$3 billion banks, and Workmen’s Circle CU was the top credit union.
