SPGI•S&P Global named Thomas Kim chief legal officer effective Oct. 19, 2026, overseeing legal, government affairs, risk and compliance. Outgoing chief legal officer Steve Kemps plans to retire at year-end and will remain as a special adviser through Dec. 31, 2026.

Kim previously served as chief legal officer and corporate secretary at Gartner and Thomson Reuters. Kemps plans to retire at year-end and will stay on as a special adviser through Dec. 31, 2026.
