Spectral AI Appoints Vincent Capone as CEO to Drive DeepView Commercialization
Spectral AI’s board has appointed Vincent S. Capone, previously CFO and General Counsel, as CEO effective February 9, 2026. Capone will lead the commercialization of its proprietary DeepView non-invasive AI-driven burn wound assessment device following its FDA submission in June 2025.

Effective February 9, 2026, Spectral AI’s Board appointed Vincent S. Capone as Chief Executive Officer, transitioning him from his roles as Chief Financial Officer since February 2024 and General Counsel since March 2022. Dr. J. Michael DiMaio will continue as Executive Chairman to support strategic direction.
2. DeepView Commercialization
Under Capone’s leadership, Spectral AI will focus on commercializing its proprietary DeepView System, a non-invasive AI-driven burn wound assessment device. The device submitted for FDA review in June 2025 aims to provide clinicians with rapid, objective burn healing assessments to improve patient outcomes and reduce costs.

Capone brings experience from KPMG, corporate and securities law practice as a partner at Reed Smith, and leadership of a private equity life sciences fund. His combined expertise in law, accounting, finance and operations aligns with Spectral AI’s goal to advance innovative medical diagnostics.
