Spero Therapeutics appoints Debra Jeske Zack as chief medical officer

Spero Therapeutics appointed Debra Jeske Zack as chief medical officer to lead clinical development strategy as it advances SP001 into clinical development.

Zack most recently served as chief medical officer at Exagen; previously held clinical leadership roles at Xencor and Novartis’ Biotherapeutics Development Unit.

At Amgen, she was global development lead for Enbrel; earlier spent 10 years as an associate professor at UCLA treating rheumatology patients.
