An ICC arbitral tribunal issued a final award on July 31, 2026, ordering NorthStar to pay about $12.4 million to Spire Global.
The tribunal dismissed NorthStar’s claims for $45.9 million tied to alleged breaches, willful misconduct, and fraudulent misrepresentation under a 2022 space services contract.
Spire won counterclaims tied to a $4.5 million promissory note, injunction-related costs, and arbitration costs; the amount is immediately due.
Spire cannot yet predict the timing or size of any recovery or other financial impact from the award.
