NOAA previously awarded Spire Global a USD 11.2 million GNSS-RO data contract in 2025 under its Commercial Weather Data Program.

NOAA contract for satellite weather data

Spire Global won a USD 3.7 million NOAA contract to supply satellite weather data from Sept. 18 to Dec. 1, 2026.

The deal covers GNSS radio occultation profiles, including temporal resolution enhancements procured separately under a commercial RO contract for the first time.
