UC Davis has joined the ongoing Phase 1 CERTAIN-T trial of CER-1236 in blood cancers. The university already manufactures CER-1236, and adding patient enrollment is expected to expand recruitment capacity and streamline treatment logistics. Previously reported preliminary results showed clinical improvement in two patients, with no dose-limiting toxicities or treatment-related severe adverse events during assessment; formal response assessments were ongoing, and the findings were insufficient to establish safety or efficacy. The expansion follows an October 7, 2026, agreement to acquire CERo Therapeutics, subject to customary closing conditions.
