SS Innovations named Sarah M. Romano chief financial officer, effective Aug. 3, 2026; she will be based in the US.
Romano most recently served as CFO of Vicarious Surgical, where she led efforts to cut cash burn and strengthen the balance sheet.
She previously held CFO roles at Entero Therapeutics and Kiora Pharmaceuticals; her background includes capital markets, SEC reporting and investor relations.
Romano has raised more than $100 million across public and private financings and began her career at PricewaterhouseCoopers.
