Stagwell appoints new Assembly CEO

Stagwell named Liz Rutgersson CEO of Assembly, overseeing global operations and North America, effective Sept. 14, 2026.
Connie Chan became CEO of Assembly APAC, effective immediately, while retaining her role as Stagwell APAC chief growth officer.
Rutgersson will report to Slavi Samardzija, Stagwell’s global chair of media and commerce.
