SLI•Committed volumes rise toward project target
Combined with Trafigura’s 8,000-tonne-a-year offtake, committed volumes reach about 90% of the project’s targeted offtake.
The project targets a final investment decision in 2026, with construction planned to start after FID. First commercial production is planned for 2029.
Standard Lithium signs binding offtake with LG Energy Solution
Standard Lithium’s Smackover Lithium venture signed a binding take-or-pay offtake with LG Energy Solution for the South West Arkansas project.
The deal covers 8,000 metric tonnes a year of battery-grade lithium carbonate for 10 years from the start of commercial production.
