Stanley Black & Decker 2Q FY26 EPS climbs to $2.33; net sales flat at $4 billion

Stanley Black & Decker posted 2Q GAAP EPS of $2.33, helped by about $0.17 from net tariff refunds.
Net sales were $4 billion, in line with the prior year, while GAAP gross margin widened 600 basis points to 33%.
GAAP net earnings margin rose 630 basis points to 8.9%, as the quarter also included a $273.7 million gain tied largely to the CAM divestiture.
Cash flow, debt reduction and outlook
Cash from operating activities totaled $763 million, free cash flow was $698 million, debt fell by $1.7 billion, and share repurchases reached $250 million.
The company raised its 2026 GAAP EPS guidance to $4.60-$5.45 and lifted its free cash flow outlook to $600-$800 million.
