Star Bulk takes delivery of two Kamsarmax newbuilds for USD 70.2 million cash outlay

Star Bulk took delivery of two 82,000 dwt Kamsarmax newbuildings in August 2026, spending USD 70.2 million from cash reserves.
Three additional 82,000 dwt Kamsarmax vessels remain under construction, with total expected capex of about USD 109.5 million.
Remaining spend of USD 65.8 million is expected to be funded partly from net proceeds of the Greek Equity Offering.
All three remaining newbuildings are scheduled for delivery in the fourth quarter of 2026.
