Steakholder Foods Secures KeHE Distribution for Perfecta, Q3 Northeastern Launch
STKH•Steakholder Foods secured U.S. retail distribution for its Perfecta Premium Plant-Based Meat line through KeHE Distributors, one of the country’s largest specialty food distributors. The rollout begins in the Northeastern United States in Q3 2026 with plans for expansion to additional regions in Q3 and Q4.
1. Distribution Partnership
Steakholder Foods partnered with KeHE Distributors, one of the largest natural and specialty food distributors in the United States, to expand retail availability of its Perfecta Premium Plant-Based Meat line. This agreement grants access to KeHE’s extensive network of independent grocers, natural food retailers and foodservice operators, significantly broadening market reach.
2. Product Innovation
Perfecta offers a range of 3D-printed, plant-based whole cuts—including marbled steaks, filet mignon and chicken breast—alongside burgers and fish patties, designed to replicate traditional meat’s texture, juiciness and marbling. Proprietary 3D-printing technology and premix blends aim to deliver taste and mouthfeel that overcome consumer barriers in the alternative protein category.
3. Rollout and Expansion
The initial launch will target Northeastern U.S. markets beginning in Q3 2026, followed by a structured roadmap for rapid expansion into additional regions throughout Q3 and Q4 2026. Management expects the staged rollout to drive trial, build distribution momentum and support revenue growth as Perfecta scales nationwide.
