Stellantis EVs to Tap Tesla Superchargers with Free2move Adapter and Future NACS Port

STLASTLA

Stellantis is opening access for Dodge Charger Daytona, Jeep Wagoneer, Jeep Recon, Ram ProMaster EV, Fiat 500e and Maserati models to Tesla’s V3 and V4 Superchargers via a Free2move adapter sold at dealerships. It will add a built-in NACS port to the 2027 Charger Daytona during a $22 billion strategy reset.

1. Supercharger Network Access

Stellantis has enabled six EV models – Dodge Charger Daytona, Jeep Wagoneer, Jeep Recon, Ram ProMaster EV, Fiat 500e and Maserati models – to connect with Tesla’s V3 and V4 Superchargers via a Free2move adapter sold through Stellantis dealerships. The adapter provides CCS-to-NACS compatibility, widening the charging footprint for its EV customers.

2. Built-In NACS Port for 2027 Charger

Starting with the 2027 Dodge Charger Daytona, Stellantis will integrate a native NACS charging port into the vehicle architecture, eliminating the need for an external adapter and streamlining user experience at Tesla charging stations.

3. $22 Billion Strategy Reset

Stellantis recorded a $22 billion charge on its EV strategy reset, including $14.7 billion for realigning product plans, $2.1 billion to reshape its EV supply chain and $5.4 billion for other costs as it adjusts to lower demand and weaker profitability expectations.
