Stellantis fleet chief leaves as CEO Filosa adds new leaders for May 21 strategy

STLASTLA

Stellantis fleet director Jeff Hines exited the company on April 17 after more than 20 years, following the departure of U.S. sales chief Jeff Kommor. The move comes as CEO Antonio Filosa installs new leaders and prepares a full strategic plan reveal on May 21.

1. Departure of Jeff Hines

Jeff Hines, who led Stellantis Pro One fleet operations for over two decades, left effective April 17 for undisclosed reasons. His departure follows U.S. sales head Jeff Kommor’s retirement and signals continued turnover under CEO Antonio Filosa.

2. Broader leadership reshuffle under Filosa

Since assuming the helm, Filosa has replaced senior executives and issued a return-to-office directive, seeking to inject new energy into corporate ranks. Michael Orange, arriving from Hyundai, will succeed Kommor as head of U.S. sales.

3. Strategic plan unveiling scheduled May 21

Filosa plans to unveil a comprehensive strategic overhaul on May 21, aiming to reverse years of market-share losses. The forthcoming blueprint will outline priorities for electrification, cost cuts and operational efficiency.

4. Hines’ previous roles and Canada controversy

Before steering Pro One, Hines served as president of Canadian operations and faced backlash over the Jeep Compass production shift from Canada to Illinois. That 2025 decision sparked protests from labor leaders and lawmakers in Ottawa.
