Stellantis said its passenger-car sales volumes, excluding Leapmotor, rose 6.7% in September and 2% in the first nine months of 2026. It ranked first in the passenger-car, light commercial vehicle and combined segments over the nine-month period, with a 28.2% market share.
2. Brand and powertrain figures
Stellantis said it was the market leader in hybrid powertrains, with a 34.2% share in the passenger-car and light commercial vehicle sector. It projected a 21.3% share for fully electric powertrains in 2026, up 44.2%. In France, Fiat’s registrations rose 34% year to date, Citroën’s passenger-car sales rose 21.3% in September, and Alfa Romeo recorded a 15.9% increase that month.
