Stellantis Posts €20.1B H2 Loss, €25.4B Writedowns and Suspends Dividend

Stellantis recorded a €20.1 billion net loss in H2 2025, including €22.2 billion in EV strategy reset charges, resulting in adjusted operating income of -€1.38 billion despite 10% revenue growth. It logged a €22.3 billion annual loss with €25.4 billion writedowns, suspended its dividend and forecast mid-single-digit revenue growth in 2026.

1. Second-Half 2025 Financial Results

Stellantis reported a net loss of €20.1 billion for July–December 2025 after €22.2 billion in EV strategy reset charges. Adjusted operating income was -€1.38 billion, missing profit expectations, while net revenues rose 10%.

2. Full-Year Performance and Writedowns

For full-year 2025, the automaker recorded a €22.3 billion net loss with an adjusted operating loss of €842 million versus €8.65 billion profit in 2024. It booked €25.4 billion in writedowns, including €6.5 billion in cash outflows spread over 2026–2029.

3. Outlook and Capital Allocation

Stellantis expects mid-single-digit percentage revenue growth and a low-single-digit adjusted operating margin in 2026, with industrial free cash flow turning positive in 2027. The company confirmed it will not pay a dividend this year.
