Stellus Capital Q2 FY26 net investment income falls to $7.5 million; revenue drops to $22.3 million

Stellus Capital Investment posted net investment income of $7.5 million, or $0.26 per share, for the quarter ended June 30, 2026, down from $9.6 million, or $0.34 per share, a year earlier.
Total investment income fell to $22.3 million from $25.7 million, on lower prevailing SOFR-linked rates and reduced principal debt outstanding.
Earnings, portfolio gains and capital actions
Net increase in net assets from operations rose to $16.2 million, or $0.56 per share, from $10.1 million, or $0.36 per share.
Net realized losses widened to $7.2 million from $0.9 million, while net unrealized appreciation climbed to $15.9 million from $1.4 million.
The company repurchased 274,343 shares for $2.45 million at $8.92 per share. At June 30, the asset coverage ratio was with drawn on the Credit Facility.
