Central Plains Bancshares faces a shareholder push at its Aug. 25, 2026 annual meeting tied to Stilwell Activist Investments’ proposed stock buyback policy.
Stilwell seeks a non-binding vote urging repurchases of at least 10% of outstanding shares in any year the stock trades below book value.
The board gave no voting recommendation on the proposal.
The company already has a 5% repurchase program and plans to seek regulatory clearance for a new program up to 10%.
