STMicroelectronics names Remi El-Ouazzane chief technology officer
STM•STMicroelectronics will appoint Remi El-Ouazzane as chief technology officer and make Marco Cassis chief strategic officer. The new organization takes effect January 1, 2027, with implementation scheduled for completion by the end of March.
1. Leadership changes
El-Ouazzane, who leads the company’s microcontrollers, digital and communications products business, will also oversee imaging sensors, digital technology research and development, advanced packaging and systems engineering. Cassis, currently responsible for corporate strategy, will focus on growth opportunities, partnerships and bolt-on acquisitions, and oversee research and development in analog, power, discrete and MEMS technologies.
