StoneX forecasts U.S. corn and soybean production

CHICAGO, Aug. 4 (Reuters) - Commodity brokerage StoneX on Tuesday projected U.S. 2026 corn production at 16.160 billion bushels, with an average yield of 184.8 bushels per acre.

StoneX also forecast this year's U.S. soybean harvest at 4.470 billion bushels, with an average yield of 53.0 bpa.

The forecasts compare with the U.S. Department of Agriculture's latest corn harvest projection for a 16.0-billion-bushel crop with an average yield of 183 bpa, and its outlook for a soybean crop of 4.475 billion bushels with an average yield of 53.0 bpa.

USDA will update its forecasts on August 12.
