SUI Group co-led a $15M funding round for Nof1 and invested $3M alongside Karatage in both Nof1 and Recursive Superintelligence’s $650M fundraiser valuing it above $4B. Karatage, holding 5.63% of SUI Group, adds governance oversight as SUI Group plans to deploy Nof1’s AI trading models to drive treasury yield.

1. Strategic AI Investments

SUI Group co-led a $15M funding round for AI research lab Nof1 and also committed $3M each to Nof1 and to Recursive Superintelligence’s $650M financing round valuing the latter above $4B. These investments deepen SUI Group’s push into automated trading and agent-driven finance infrastructure.

2. Governance and Partnership

Karatage Opportunities, a London-based hedge fund focused on digital assets and AI, co-invested alongside SUI Group and holds 5.63% of the company’s common stock. Karatage co-founders Marius Barnett and Stephen Mackintosh serve as SUI Group’s chairman and chief investment officer, and SUI Group’s independent board members approved both deals.

3. AI Trading Experiment and Treasury Application

Nof1’s Alpha Arena experiment tested eight frontier AI models with real capital allocations of $10,000 each, producing profitable trades in only six out of 32 result sets. SUI Group intends to deploy Nof1’s models to enhance yield generation on its treasury allocations and expand public-market exposure within the Sui ecosystem.
