Blue Owl Capital has completed the sale of Dark Fiber and Infrastructure LLC to SummitIG, transferring ownership of nearly 200 miles of conduit and dark fiber assets. The transaction marks a strategic divestment by Blue Owl from its digital infrastructure portfolio.
2. Network Expansion
SummitIG’s existing platform of over 1,100 miles in Virginia grows with the addition of DF&I’s network, including almost 200 miles of new routes and 60 miles extending service into Baltimore, Maryland. This expansion boosts route diversity and capacity for hyperscalers, carriers and enterprises.
