Sun Hung Kai Properties takes full ownership of Guangzhou Tianhui Plaza after buying out R&F, KWG stakes
XLRE•SHKP buys out remaining stakes in Guangzhou Tianhui Plaza
Sun Hung Kai Properties acquired the remaining two one-third stakes in Guangzhou Tianhui Plaza from Guangzhou R&F Properties and KWG Group.
The transaction lifts SHKP’s ownership to 100% in the Zhujiang New Town CBD mixed-use project.
The deal was completed at market value; SHKP also takes on the JV company’s outstanding tax liabilities and debt issues.
The project includes a 1 million-square-foot IGC mall and the Conrad Guangzhou hotel, with more than 520,000 square feet GFA and more than 300 rooms.
