Sun Life set a board chair transition for May 5, 2027, with Joseph Natale slated to succeed Scott Powers following the annual meeting.
Powers will step down as chair and director at the end of his term, following the 2027 annual meeting.
Natale’s background at Sun Life and prior roles
Natale has been a Sun Life director since February 2023, leading the management planning committee, with a seat on the risk review committee.
He previously served as CEO of Rogers Communications, held senior leadership roles at Telus, led KPMG Consulting’s global sector practice, later known as BearingPoint.
