The program excludes New York and is HIPAA-compliant.
Partnership to link medical claims and supplemental coverage
Sun Life Financial partners with Claritev to use machine learning to link medical claims with supplemental health coverage eligibility.
The aim is to speed benefit payments for self-funded employers’ workers, improving take-up of critical illness, accident and hospital indemnity benefits.
Claritev will continuously review enrolled employees’ medical claims data; Sun Life will prompt eligible employees to file claims.
