SunCar Secures Exclusive Insurance Deal for Huawei-Backed Aistaland Luxury EV Brand
SDA•SunCar has become exclusive insurance partner for all Huawei luxury EV brands after winning the Aistaland contract, joining five existing Huawei partner brands. It will deploy AI models integrated into Huawei’s Qiankun system and its 48,000 service-provider network to customize coverage, reduce claims costs and support maintenance.
1. Exclusive Partnership with Aistaland
SunCar has won the contract to manage auto insurance for Aistaland, becoming the exclusive insurance partner for all Huawei luxury EV brands. This milestone extends its network of five existing Huawei partner brands and underscores growing demand for AI-powered B2B auto insurance in China's luxury EV market.
2. AI Integration and Service Capabilities
The company will deploy dedicated AI models using its Doubao large language model and extensive vehicle database to calculate vehicle and driver risk, accurately match policies, predict maintenance needs, and reduce claims costs. Integration with Huawei’s Qiankun intelligent vehicle system will enable seamless delivery of insurance and automotive services.
3. Expanding Support Network
SunCar will leverage its network of 48,000 automotive service providers to manage underwriting, claims processing, roadside assistance, and routine and emergency maintenance for Aistaland drivers. This collaboration strengthens SunCar’s position within the Huawei ecosystem and supports its strategy to expand AI-powered insurance applications across intelligent vehicles.
