1. Record Q4’25 Financial Performance
SunPower reported Q4’25 revenue of $88.5 million, up 26% from $70.0 million in Q3’25, driven by full-quarter contributions from the Sunder acquisition and partial-quarter contributions from Ambia. 2. Full-Year Profitability and 2026 Outlook
For full-year 2025, SunPower generated $308.8 million in revenue with $10.9 million in operating income, marking its first profitable annual result after four years of losses. Looking ahead to Q1’26, management forecasts approximately $84 million in revenue (±$4 million) to account for a typical 10–15% winter slump and the scheduled ITC solar tax credit reduction. Operating income for Q1’26 is expected to be $2.0 million, and the company anticipates sustained profitability throughout 2026.
3. Capital and Liquidity Initiatives
On January 11, SunPower increased its equity line of credit with White Lion Capital to $55 million, bolstering its cash‐security framework and maintaining a minimum cash threshold above $10 million. The company has three additional funding deals in progress to support working capital and growth investments. To streamline financial reporting, SunPower has engaged a Silicon Valley financial consultant to unify legacy systems and has initiated a search for a new chief financial officer to accelerate SEC filing timelines.
4. Strategic Growth Through Acquisitions and Partnerships
SunPower expanded its commissioned salesforce to 1,977 representatives through acquisitions of Sunder, Ambia, and Purelight, while keeping full-time headcount flat at 847, driving record productivity of $445,000 in revenue per employee. In January, the company signed a joint development agreement with REC to commercialize a frameless bifacial panel, internally named Monolith, delivering 470 watts and targeting over 500 watts output. SunPower also executed a letter of intent to acquire Cobalt Power Systems, which will install Monolith panels on a 111 kW project at Fortinet’s Sunnyvale headquarters.
