Sunrun Q2 FY26 net income drops 58.8% to USD 115.2 million; revenue rises 53% to USD 870 million

Sunrun posted Q2 net income attributable to common stockholders of USD 115.2 million, or USD 0.42 per diluted share.
Revenue rose 53% from a year earlier to USD 870 million, driven by energy systems and product sales revenue that more than doubled to USD 326.3 million.
Subscriber additions and storage metrics
Subscriber additions fell 31% from a year earlier to 19,793, while aggregate subscriber value dropped 24% to about USD 1.2 billion.
Storage attachment rate climbed 4 percentage points to a record 74%, lifting networked storage capacity to 4.6 gigawatt-hours at June 30.
2026 cash generation guidance lowered
Sunrun cut 2026 cash generation guidance excluding equipment safe harbor to USD 200 million-USD 375 million, citing lower affiliate volumes and higher capital costs.
