Super Micro Computer rises on upbeat annual revenue forecast
SMCI•Super Micro raises outlook above estimates
- Shares of AI server maker Super Micro Computer (SMCI.O) were up about 8% at $34.11 in extended trading on upbeat forecasts.
- The company forecast fiscal 2027 revenue between $65 billion and $72 billion, ahead of estimates of $52.50 billion, according to data compiled by LSEG.
- It sees first-quarter revenue between $14.5 billion and $15.5 billion, above estimates of $11.68 billion, and adjusted net income per share between $1.01 and $1.10, above expectations of 76 cents.
- Fourth-quarter revenue rose to $11.12 billion from $5.8 billion a year ago, while adjusted net income per share of $1.70 beat estimates of 96 cents.
- The stock has risen about 8% year to date.
