SuperCom Secures $1.8M, Three-Year Norway Electronic Monitoring Contract
SPCB•SuperCom won a $1.8 million, three-year electronic monitoring contract with Norway’s Prison and Probation Service to deploy approximately 1,000 PureSecurity units, completing its footprint across Sweden, Denmark, Finland, Iceland and Norway. The award, secured by highest technology and total scores in the RFP, includes extension options for further growth.
1. Contract Award Details
SuperCom has been awarded a national electronic monitoring contract by Norway’s Prison and Probation Service valued at $1.8 million over an initial three-year term. The deployment will include about 1,000 GPS, RF and facility-based monitoring units under the PureSecurity Suite after SuperCom achieved the highest technology score and total evaluation score in the competitive procurement process.
2. Completion of Nordic Expansion
This award marks SuperCom’s entry into Norway and completes its presence in all five Nordic countries, joining existing programs in Sweden, Denmark, Finland and Iceland. The full regional footprint strengthens the company’s reference base and showcases its ability to displace incumbents in government-level tenders.
3. Financial and Growth Implications
The contract structure allows for term extensions and incremental unit growth, offering potential for additional revenue beyond the initial $1.8 million valuation. SuperCom’s recent trailing-twelve-month EBITDA of $10.3 million reflects benefits from regional scale, operational leverage and a growing global pipeline of national and state-level electronic monitoring programs.
