SurgePays wins Nasdaq extension to regain $1 minimum bid price compliance by March 22, 2027
SURG•Nasdaq gave SurgePays an additional 180 days, until March 22, 2027, to regain compliance with its $1 minimum bid-price requirement. The company also regained compliance with Nasdaq’s minimum stockholders’ equity rule.
1. Nasdaq grants extension
Nasdaq granted SurgePays an additional 180 days, until March 22, 2027, to cure its deficiency with the $1.00 minimum bid-price requirement. Nasdaq cited the company’s plan to use a reverse stock split if needed; failure to regain compliance by the deadline would trigger a delisting notice, which the company could appeal, though an appeal would not stay a trading suspension.
2. Equity rule compliance
In a separate letter, Nasdaq found SurgePays back in compliance with the minimum stockholders’ equity requirement under Listing Rule 5550(b)(1).
