SusGlobal net loss narrows to $1.52 million in Q1 FY26

SusGlobal posted a net loss of USD 1.52 million for the quarter ended March 31, 2026, narrowing from USD 1.88 million a year earlier.
Revenue was nil versus USD 6,345 a year earlier, while cost of sales fell to USD 74,529 from USD 450,720.
Facilities update
The Hamilton Facility was sold on June 30, 2026 for USD 7.71 million; Belleville Facility reopening is targeted for early 2027 as compliance work continues.
Liquidity position
Working capital deficit widened to USD 41.17 million at March 31, 2026, with cash balances at nil and current liabilities of USD 41.2 million.
Expenses and foreign exchange loss
Operating expenses climbed to USD 1.03 million from USD 709,930, driven by foreign exchange loss of USD 300,875 versus income of USD 20,197.
