Suzano issues first TNFD-aligned nature disclosure report
SUZ•Suzano published its first report aligned with TNFD recommendations, initially covering its direct operations in Brazil. It restated a 2030 target to connect 500,000 hectares of native vegetation across the Cerrado, Atlantic Forest and Amazon.
1. Report and roadmap
The report maps nature-related dependencies and impacts into governance, strategy, risk management and capital allocation decisions. It sets a roadmap to expand nature-related analysis and disclosures in coming years, reinforcing Suzano’s Nature Strategy launched in November 2025.
2. Sensitive areas and target
Suzano’s updated “Sensitive Areas” methodology combines public databases with proprietary data to improve identification of high-sensitivity regions. The company restated its 2030 target to connect 500,000 hectares of native vegetation fragments across the Cerrado, Atlantic Forest and Amazon.
