Swedbank: Sweden services PMI rises to 57.4 in September
SPY•Sweden’s services PMI rose to 57.4 in September from 56.0, its highest since November 2025. The composite PMI increased to 57.6 from 56.1, while employment remained contractionary for a 12th month and supplier input price pressures accelerated.

Sweden’s services PMI rose to 57.4 in September from 56.0, the highest reading since November 2025. Stronger demand, led by new orders, drove the increase, and delivery times improved.
2. Costs and hiring
Employment remained contractionary for a 12th consecutive month. The supplier input price index jumped to 73.3 from 62.1, among 2026’s highest readings.
3. Composite PMI rises
The PMI Composite increased to 57.6 from 56.1, signaling broader business recovery despite weak services hiring.
