1. Orders and costs rise
Sweden’s manufacturing PMI increased to 58.1 in September from 56.3, with new orders driving the gain and output growth accelerating. The employment component limited the overall rise. The supplier price index climbed to 77.6 from 75.7, its highest level since June; rising costs risk squeezing margins and could lead to higher producer prices reaching consumers.
