Sweetgreen's fiscal third-quarter revenue rose more than 2% to $176.02 million, beating the $169.42 million consensus. Its adjusted EBITDA loss of $6.76 million was narrower than the expected $8.35 million, while EBIT loss of $31.79 million was slightly wider than the $31.36 million consensus. The company reported a loss of $0.26 per basic share.
Revenue growth was primarily driven by incremental sales from 30 net new restaurant openings during or after Q3 2025. Sweetgreen said lower comparable sales reflected reduced consumer demand following a cyclosporiasis outbreak, while product mix decreased as customers shifted toward wraps. For 2026, it expects about 10 net new restaurant openings, half with Infinite Kitchen, same-store sales change of about negative 5.5%, restaurant-level profit margin of 11.0% to 11.5%, and adjusted EBITDA of negative $23 million to negative $20 million.
