Sylvamo plans to sell Europe business to Midas Atlantic Partners
SLVM•Sylvamo plans to sell its Europe business to Midas Atlantic Partners, in partnership with The Najafi Companies. The proposed transfer includes agreed working capital and cash in exchange for the right to receive 20% of future distributions, with closing expected by the end of the first quarter of 2027.
1. Proposed sale
The business includes paper mills in Saillat, France, and Nymolla, Sweden, as well as forestry and supporting operations. A definitive share purchase agreement is expected after consultations with works councils and employee representatives.
