Second-quarter results and cash flow
Sylvamo posted a GAAP net loss of $11 million in the second quarter, swinging from a $15 million profit a year earlier.
Net sales rose to $806 million from $794 million a year earlier, while non-GAAP adjusted EBITDA fell to $60 million from $82 million.
Non-GAAP business segment operating profit dropped to $14 million from $30 million a year earlier; Europe logged a $20 million operating loss.
Cash from continuing operations fell to $38 million from $64 million a year earlier; non-GAAP free cash flow was negative $23 million versus negative $2 million.
