Synaptics Q4 profit beats estimates on IoT demand

Synaptics said fourth-quarter revenue rose 9% and slightly beat analyst expectations, while adjusted earnings per share also beat consensus. The company said the quarter was driven by growth in its Core IoT segment.

Core IoT strength drove the quarter
Synaptics said its fourth-quarter and full-year results were driven by 24% and 43% year-over-year growth in Core IoT product sales. The company also cited expanded customer engagements and increased design wins, especially in Physical AI and robotics.
The company said non-GAAP operating margin reached 20%, the highest in 13 quarters, citing continued strength in Core IoT.
