Synchrony named Nimrod Barak as chief AI officer, effective June 30, 2026.
Barak will lead enterprise AI strategy, governance, deployment, agentic automation, and responsible use across products, operations, and decision-making.
He previously led Citi’s AI Center of Excellence and Emerging Technologies as managing director.
