The company now resells Nvidia’s Omniverse system-level design environment and uses GPU-accelerated AI simulations to reduce prototype times from months to hours.

Synopsys CEO highlighted insatiable demand for sophisticated semiconductor chips used in future applications such as electric vehicles, drones and robotics. He emphasized that these AI-driven systems require more complex silicon architectures than traditional sensors or simple chips.

The recent acquisition of Ansys expanded Synopsys’s customer base and enabled a shift from physical prototyping to digital twin design. This integrated platform supports concurrent modeling of electronic, mechanical, thermal and fluid systems, addressing rising design complexity.

Synopsys now resells Nvidia’s Omniverse system-level design environment to its engineering channel and leverages GPU-accelerated AI simulations. This collaboration reduces complex simulation times from months to hours, accelerating product development cycles.
