Syntec Optics replaces CBIZ CPAs with Withum as auditor

Auditor change announced

Syntec Optics dismissed auditor CBIZ CPAs effective Aug. 19, 2026, and replaced it with WithumSmith+Brown.

CBIZ’s audit opinion for the year ended Dec. 31, 2025 was unqualified, with no adverse opinion or disclaimer.

No disputes with CBIZ were reported, though prior audits identified material internal-control weaknesses, including documentation, reconciliations, and IT controls.

Withum will begin with a review of interim financials for the quarter ending Sept. 30, 2026, and then audit the 2026 financial statements.
