Hurricane Isaias disrupted T-Mobile service across parts of the Gulf Coast, mainly because of widespread commercial power outages. About 96% of sites in four affected markets were operational as of Saturday morning, and crews deployed generators to restore coverage. Since Oct. 9, the company’s Self-Organizing Network technology made more than 7,500 automated adjustments; on Oct. 9, more than 16,000 T-Satellite users sent or received over 38,000 text messages. T-Mobile offered unlimited talk, text and data to eligible customers in impacted areas during recovery.
